There are probably teams missing from this list - if you know of any omission please let us know.

    Stourbridge Football Club.     Stourbridge play at the War Memorial Athletic Ground that is situated opposite Holy Trinity Church in Amblecote. A well established club with a long history (formed 1876) whose nickname is the 'Glassboys'. 

    Amblecote Rovers.     A team of young amateur players that played in the late 1950's and early 1960's. Home games were played on the Amblecote Recreation Field.

   Amblecote United.     Another team of young amateurs who played on the pitch situated between John Hall brickworks and Stamford Road.

    Amblecote Old Boys.     Nothing is known about this team at the moment from around the 1930's - but 'Old Boys' of what ???  It is reported that there was a youth team named Wordsley Old Boys playing in the 1950 - 1960's.

    Amblecote FC.      A team based at the Amblecote Christian Centre who play in the West Midlands Christian Football League, est 1979.

    Amblecote Viaduct FC.     A relatively new team who play in the Warley and District Sunday League.

    Amblecote Methodist Youth Club

    Causeway United.     Causeway United FC was formed in 1957 and derived its name from the Causeway Green area of Oldbury (now part of Sandwell). The club enjoys groundsharing with Stourbridge Football Club at the War Memorial Athletic Ground, Amblecote.
