Helen Claires

Acorn House | 108 Brettell Lane | Amblecote | Stourbridge | West Midlands DY8 4BS

Helen lives on the eastern side of Amblecote, and first attended Peters Hill School, followed by Thorns School and Community College. At Stourbridge College she studied a BTEC in Art and Design, and, having an interest in ‘beauty’, she completed a number of beauty related courses. She entered UCE Birmingham to further study Art and to become a teacher.

By this time Helen had built herself a successful business in beauty, with a large clientele base, and after 7 years of working mobile and gaining experience working in other salons, Helen opened her first Salon in May 2008 - Room 675 - in what was previously a doctor's surgery in Withymoor Village. After a excellent year, the opportunity to move to Brettell Lane was too tempting to resist, and Helen moved into one of the retail units in the refurbished Acorn Inn. The Salon opened on 5th May 2009 and offers a wide range of beauty treatments, which the people of Amblecote and the surrounding areas are enjoying in increasing numbers.
